These are a set of ‘Experiential Route Maps’ produced for the Alan Ceen’s Cartography course.

This water colored sketch was created for a “postcard” project. Given the a post card (first image), I was tasked with finding that location in Rome and recreating the modern image of it. I found the spot in the middle of a cross walk near the North Borgo Gate.

The Post Card is part of Ettore Roesler’s Disappeared Rome series from the late 19th Century. This particular card depicts a plaza near on the the Borgo Wall gates in Borgo Angelico.
